Governor Bill Lee is detailing his vision for Tennessee in the new year. Governor Lee was in Jackson on January 2nd. Governor Lee stated his priorities for his second year in office include criminal justice reform and moving forward with his public school voucher plan.  Shelby County Schools officials say they’re against Lee’s education savings account plan.  The plan includes covering tuition at private schools for students who are zoned for non-performing schools. Lee also said grant money for vocational education is a top priority for him this year and in the future.
